clarity

thats right, I like taking bubble baths. they help me relax and unclog my brain, and I get to dwell on matters of trivial and of significance.

And I came to a conclusion (as usual, bathrooms = best place to receive epiphanies).

What I fear the most is not death nor disease, but its being a parent.

I am not the perfect child yet they have such unconditional love for me. This unconditional love, compassion, patience, humaneness and grace is just plain mind-boggling to me.

So Mum and...Dad:

when i was a baby;I loved you
when i became a child; I loved and hated you
when i became a teen; I hated and blamed you
and now, now I wish and pray to be just like you

i just hope
the love I take be equal to the love I make.

Yea as kids we never understand why our parents do the things they do. Its only when its our turn to be one, we become just like them because thats the only parenting style we really know of and understand.

Nicely written though :)
